ABC - the Swedish acronym for work, housing and town center, was the overall planning principle when Vällingby was built in the 1950´s. The historic neighborhood has been restored but modernized to fit with the new times. As a result, D for Design has been added to meet the demands of the 21st century for what a good shopping centre should look like.
